The people saying it will be amazing were probably the same children saying Reach would be amazing because it was a Halo game.

Yeah! Halo 4 continues the story of Halo 3, Halo 4 is going to be the same as Halo 3, just even batter!
I'm just as big a fan of Halo as the next guy, and I can't wait to play Halo 4, but your last two posts have been completely ignorant.
1. Halo Reach, and the "other ones" were NOT side games. They were Halo, just as the others were. Just because they changed does not mean they're not Halo, or that they're "just side games" Halo 3: ODST was amazing. Halo Wars was amazing. I didn't like Halo Wars only because it was an RTS, and I suck at RTS games. The story was amazing, though, and i was no less a Halo Game than Halo CE.
2. Halo 4 is not going to be just like Halo 3 only because Master Chief is returning. The game looks like a brand new era of Halo.
3. Black Ops II is not going to suck. I personally don't like it, and I personally am not going to buy it, but that does not make the game suck any more, or less. It's an opinion to think a game sucks, and it's an opinion to call it "the most anticipated."
My rant is over. Sorry for singling you out, but I'm just sick of seeing posts like this.
That's why I read it in an article by the makers, but I guess the're wrong? And I read that it is the most anticipated of the year in another article, but I guess that's all bull**** right?

As long as they don't make any more spin off games (Wars, ODST, etc.) and just stick to the main story line, I think Halo will be fine since the spin offs were the ones that weren't as great as the ones in the main trilogy.
Halo Trilogy (Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3) > Halo Wars, ODST, Reach..
Halo Trilogy (Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3) > Halo Wars, ODST, Reach..

Well I think this next game will be very popular as Halo 3 was extremely welcomed! I really think it will go to the top

They aren't going to be the main enemies though, The Prometheans are the new enemies.
The Covenant were added to keep that old Halo feeling inside.. y'know? Since it wouldn't make sense if they just completely disappear, there should be a reason on why they left.. As you progress, they aren't going to be in there and we're just going to face the Forerunners and their crew..

I'm really riding on the hope that Halo 4 will be great. If it's half the game that Halo 2 was, I'll without a doubt love it. Due to recent announcements, Gears of War Judgment has been ruined for me, so I need to fall back onto my second favorite series Halo!
