Quit now and crawl back to your Xbox.

There are a lot of games that are MUCH easier on controller. Like NBA 2k12, Mirrors Edge, and Assassins Creed. And take that greentexting back to 4chan. Read the rules for christ's sake.

Real helpful, some games are better played with a gamepad, and others with KB & Mouse. One example - Super Meat Boy. He's entitled to his own opinion.

I have a a wired Xbox controller that plugs in via USB, it's better than wireless in my opinion. Seeing as you've bought a wireless receiver here:

You should also download XPadder or in view the better program "Pinnacle Game Profiler". If you want either, a quick Google more than easily suffices.

It's better than advice any other user can give.

The only scenario I could see this being a half decent option would be on a racing game, then again, the majority of them are horribly optimized anyways.

Seriously, go back to your Xbox because it's obvious you're not taking advantage of the pros of the platform.

You make it seem that I am not able to suggest him buy a wired Xbox controller and plug it in via USB. Get real.

..That could be played on Xbox which are optimized for a controller.

Again, no credibility.

Implying that quoting text is solely attached to 4chan. Idiot.

So Dirt was horribly optimized. Along with F1 2011? You're surely joking right?

Btw to the poster, first check if you can map the controls in game or if there are controls already. I.E Blacklight Retribution, you can't map your controller, but by default if it's plugged in, it'll work. I believe it uses Call of Duty's default controls.

lol no credibility, but you're the one going around saying controllers suck for all games. That was a great build, I love my monitor. You're just a neckbeard pony lover who can't accept anything other than what he has. I bet you have exactly what you build, every time. And you obviously haven't read the rules then if you think it's not only for 4chan.

You listed 2 games out of 1,000's...great job, champ - here's a cookie.

Here, I'll list 2 that are crap and are huge console ports.

Entire NFS series
TDU 2.
Blur.

As if anyone plays those games on PC. Except for The Run, that wasn't too bad. And there is also Ridge Racer Unbounded. Yeah most games are better for keyboard and mouse. Hell I bet Smite would be good for someone used to a controller. The Witcher is another game that has support that isn't too bad for controller. Even Alan Wake. It may be ported, but it's a good port and a good game.

I didn't like control system for either keyboard/mouse or controller on Witcher 2, the games brilliant don't get me wrong but the controls are too damn confusing.

I guess it can work either way, it's all a matter of opinion in the end.

You can always map it to your preferences, and yeah it's a great game. And if people want to play on a controller, at least they're playing on a PC and getting the FPS a PC gets.
