Ok so after a few months of Comcast coming to my house and fine tuning everything, I'm still having problems getting a good signal in my room (wifi). I've up graded everything so far (routers, extenders, basic ->xfinity) still lots of lag and only about 10.60download 9.42 upload and 144 ms ping. The next step is to runs cable. Now I'm going to need about 100 ft and my question is should I get cat5e or cat6? Also will the signal strength decrease over this length of cable?
