I think that since last year skyrim won game of the year that shows alot about what might happen,
skyrim is amazing and was well deserving of game of the year, i think both the call of duty fans and halo fans are going to be dissapointed because all the best games have been in the past, i think its time a new game stepped up i hear dishonnered is good but i think grand theft auto 5 will be the winner, there is alot more work put into it then there is to call of duty and halo 4,,,, im just guessing because its basically cookie cutter games that they are throwing out now.

gta 5 in my opinion.. even knowing the violence thats in a grand theft auto game.. the work will clearly come out on top and the story line... that looks to sick

Might be borderlands 2 or GTA 5. Or if treyarch has enough money they might pay off someone to make BO 2 game of the year.
