I'm building a gaming rig soon and was wandering if this is good enough to handle games around medium settings.

It should be ok on medium settings,yes.

what is your budget just asking , Iv'e never been a amd owner before but I would go with intel for gaming

budgets around 700 that's why i'm going with amd their more of a budget build but in the future i will upgrade to a i7.

Yes thats a great desktop,

mine has a i5 8gb ram and a amd 6670 and it runs almost every game on high, other than the obivous ones such as crysis, skyrim, metro 2033.

This should run most if not all games on high pal

You may just have to try it but I think above 30 at least,yes.
