1. I've explored most of my map as well as caves, will the mineshaft be put in? or will i have to make a new world?
2. Will the biomes be there or will I have to make a new world?
3. Will they extend the map?

unfortunately you will have to make a new world when the update comes out to get mineshafts, new biomes, ravines, and npc villages. and yes they are extending the map
