when my friend turns hes jtag on he gets a black screen and nothin happens, the jtag is quite old and we dont know what to do can any one help?

might be up for a reflow or reball of the GPU.....id try new cables first though.

tell him to wait like 5 min. my zephyr is a little slow on the start-up as well. if it doesnt start after 5 min go get new cables or just get it re-flowed

Spam, this was pointless, and could be a bad flash, Try booting into Xell and put original Nand back in, helps mine every time.
