Hey i just bought counter strike source for my macbook pro yesterday and i played it once but i lagged out so i restarded my mac and when i try to play again i get this message

Invalid or corrupt background texture materials/console/background01.vtf

WTF!!! if anyone can help me with this problem and help me fix it, i will give them a 1600 mirco point card

Redownload it since a file is currupt. or if there is a repair do that.

This is a problem with the system. You might need to take to apple to get fixed tell them you shouldnt have to pay anything.

u doubt u even have a point card so im not going to bother but check to make sure ur disk drive isnt messed up try playing other disks and make sure u have all the stuff u need to play it like sometimes u will need java

Uninstall the game and reinstall, some of your files weren't installed correctly. That should fix it.

i tryed all that none worked!! lots of ppl have this probem but no1 noes how to fix!
and i do have the card in font of me!
