hi i have a ipod touch 3rd gen 32gb 4.0.2 firmware is their anyway to jailbreak this thanks

no im sorry but 4.2 blocks all jailnreaks so at the moment no, but there are rumours that a new jailbreak will come out for 4.2 when the next firmware is released

the next firmware is 4.1.0

so a jailbreak for 4.2.0 will be out b4 its released? cool beans 8)

if u mean 4.0.2 then yea

with 4.1 coming out "very soon" dev teams haven't even tried to JB 4.0.2 because of the sheer fact that they're coming out with the new update so soon.

But to answer your question, you have to downgrade to 4.0.1 and run a jb for that series.
