Any Jets fan should know this by now but our best player and the best cornerback in the NFL has been lost to an ACL Tear. The injury was sustained in the 3rd quarter of the Week 3 matchup @ Miami when Revis was going for a tackle but landed on his left foot awkwardly resulting in a twisted knee and the ACL had torn on the play. As a huge Jets fan i cant really see how we could be a threat at least on the defensive side of the ball, Cromartie has proven already this season he can't even shutdown a #2 receiver he has been picked on by QB's already especially Big Ben last week who abused Cromartie and on the other side Kyle Wilson will have to step up. Through his first 3 years he's also demonstrated that he can't make up for his lack of size against taller wide receivers. After Revis left the game the Dolphins started to pass more and they were completing plenty of balls on the depleted secondary. I can only hope we sign or trade for a decent cornerback cause i dont see any upside coming from this. What needs to happen now is an up in the pass rush and the offensive has to be more successful.
I firmly believe that the season is just about over.

The Jets are 2-1. There season isn't over. Just because they lost Revis isn't the end of the season. It would be the end of season if they lost Cromartie, Holmes and Sanchez (along with Revis). So they still have a good shot it is just going to be tougher with out #1 Corner Revis.
