Okay, I would rather pay someone $5 for gold, than to buy a older remote for homebrew.

Apparently, the newer, black, and motion remotes don't work in homebrew, but the older white ones do.

I only have a black one. and apparently there is a way I can get homebrew to work with my black controller but I don't know how to install it. This website said that this file needs to be renamed to boot.dol in the homebrew_browser directory. I have no idea how to do that.

If you need a better description on how to solve it, go to this link, and read the 3rd comment down. Link: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Thanks for all your help. And if SOMEBODY can help me, I will certainly be happy to give them gold.

on your sd card that you are using for all of your homebrew apps, there wiil be a folder called "apps" go into it and you should have a folder called "homebrew_browser" go into that folder and find a file called boot.dol and delete it - the file that the user in the link is asking you to download is called "hbb.wiimote.test" rename that to "boot.dol" and then put it into the folder called "homebrew_browser" on your sd card. Make sure you delete the old boot.dol before imputing the one that you renamed. Hope this helps.
