Hi so i just got my first Android phone :O and i got some question
So first i wanted to ask you guys what does rooting a phone gives you ? and how could i root my HTC Incredible S (its on 4.0.4 ICS).
And my Second question is there something like on the installous (IPhone)

Rooting disables your warranty but allows you to download apps that make your phone run faster and can allow you to choose more options.

installous sounds like blackmarket alpha where you can get paid apps free
you do not need to have your phone rooted to install cracked apps but if you are rooted black market can install them automaticly, if you are not rooted it will download them and you will have to install them manually
with root you can install custom roms, block adverts, delete apps that wont let you uninstall them in the standard app manager and more
