Ok this is a post not about android or iOS. This is a post about crappy pre-android/iOS phones.
TL;DR under spoil
TL;DR Summary:
Anyone know how to get access to the proprietary restricted files on a Sanyo Innuendo so I can import my own stuff? That or at least does anyone know what the OS is called and if there are any workarounds?

I have downgraded. I own a HTC Evo, but no service for it because Sprint costs an arm and a leg, so I switched to Boost Mobile.
I bought a Sanyo Innuendo by Kyocera. I am used to the limitless freedom provided by Android OS and now with this new phone I am finding it hard to import my own ringtones. I'm guessing there is some kind of proprietary coding block that makes it impossible to use any .mp3 as a ringtone. That or they have a proprietary file type for ringtones. On top of that connecting the device to my laptop via micro USB = nothing. (Yet again proprietary block preventing access to phone files. Like what they do with PS3 controllers.)
