Yes, I'll admit, I have duped my weapons to help other people but in general why do people dupe? I farmed atleast 10 legendaries from bosses in the 1st playthrough. Why can't people do this themselves? Some people can't even level up for themselves and get into boosting lobbies before they've even beaten the campaign.

Some people just like duping instead of constantly fighting the same bosses over and over. Same thing with the levels. They enjoy being able to just run around and have fun so that's why they do it. If that is what they enjoy doing, why bother with it?

Some people may enjoy doing that but I'm 100% sure that Gearbox didn't intend for all this boosting and duping.

It wasn't this bad in the beginning of Borderlands 1, why so bad now?

Just because they didn't intend on it happening doesn't mean much. They openly stated that they support modding of the game so I don't think they are too bothered by it either. Besides, if they didn't like it they would have fixed it.

Because now everyone already know how to do it from playing the first game and no one had to figure it out

I still think the duping shouldn't be severe as it is, and people should actually play the game before duping/level boosting.

It's the same as using mods. People say that this takes away from the experience. Yeah maybe it does for you, but not for the person using the mods. Obviously it makes it just as fun for them so I really don't see why people get so mad about it, just let them have fun.

I understand using mods but duping/boosting isn't modding so why do it?

They do it the same reason as someone would mod, they like to have the stuff because they find it fun. It doesn't really affect you much though so why does it matter?
