I'm on the OP's side here. If you cannot Licence Transfer with a friend, let alone yourself, why the heck is there an option to do so anyway?

Xbox is probably using it to find out people who are involved with fraud and theft, but to be fair, the option shouldn't be there if these sort of consequences happen as 10 year olds don't know what they are doing nowadays, they just click buttons, get to what they want then unexpectedly get banned.

The license transfer is for if you get a different xbox to the one you used to have then you can redownload all of that content o that xbox but for your profile, you can't license transfer all of your friends stuff and you both use that is fraud as one of you isnt paying for it.

The Chances of getting banned for using the license transfer feature on Xbox is very slim. If you Abuse it for somthing expensive (a Few Games that equal up to like 8000MSP) then yes your chances increase on getting banned.

You clearly don't understand how Xbox servers work? It is like a Jtag, even if you are not using a modification or hack they will catch you but it will be harder/longer. When you use a modification or hack you get caught easy because the status show them that you are running a modified Xbox. In a flashed Xbox you use custom firmware to make the drive read burn games and that is shown in your status. Long story short, all mods and hack are shown in yours status, even your IP address.
