It does work. Do you get a glitched menu when signing your second controller into the game, then quickly pressing (A) on your first controller? That was my main problem when getting the glitch to work. Also, it's sort of random if it works or not. Just keep trying.

Yes, but some people, like myself, don't have access to modding tools, such as a USB stick/Transer cable, or don't feel like downloading something that could potentially have a virus.

I get the glitched menu but do I end it on a certain person and do I have to keep going in between a siren and gunzerker? Also when I join my friends game do I click play then go from there or do I do it before I choose my first character?

You don't have to go between Siren and Gunzerker, but that's what I've always done.

For when you're in the glitched menu, you select your level 50 or whatever on your first controller (the controller you use to join your friend, and the character you want skill points on.) On your second controller, you create a new character. I normally create a new siren. Then, on second controller, press Play and it'll pop up a "Confirm Character Selection" screen that shows both controller's characters. When there, use controller 2 to switch between Siren and Gunzerker for about 20 seconds.

Then use your first controller to confirm the characters.
