Hey TTG members!
There is currently a worm/virus/trojan going around skype...
Just thought i had better let the TTG community know.
The virus originated from somewhere in russia, it is being called one of the BIGGEST
worms in history. the link looks like this (WARNING DO NOT CLICK THIS): link removed
You will receive a message to your skype saying:
LOL is this your new profile pic? link removed
Upon clicking this link it download's a ZIP package and you think you may be safe but you aren't. The link is exploited meaning upon click your computer is INSTANTLY infected via windows exploit kit. you are then keylogged and infected as a bot on a MAJOR botnet. it will also send that message to all of YOUR skype friends.
There is no solution to this virus as of yet, it is fully un-detectable, and cannot be removed as it root kit's and stores itself on your computer's driver's info which stay with your computer even after clean install of windows!
DO NOT BE FOOLED!

I got infected by it and then i restored so i am fine. It is sad the lowlifes actually waste the time to do this.

Heard about this. Luckily I deleted Skype a couple weeks ago. Think I might have gotten a virus then. Had to take everything off my Laptop. It sucks. ):

my friend got this and he had alot of his facebook friends on his skype so im pretty sure there not happy. good thing I dont have a skype anymore
