If this is a gaming build it's not prioritized properly. The power supply is no good, 16GB is unnecessary, the Antec 300 sucks, the MSI Z77A-G43 is a better mobo option, and there's no aftermarket CPU cooler.

I like it except for

CPU: I would spend the extra money getting the i7 maybe the i7 2700k that way you can overclock if you want to and it has better performance too.

GPU: Look at getting the AMD Radeon HD 7850 OC edition.

Power Supply: Def get something like 850watt. Better especially if you want to overclock.

RAM: Perfect, but even 8gb will be sufficient even for high quality gaming.

Hardrive: Fine, you can always upgrade later if you want.

Case: I know its more but i'm getting the Coolermaster haf 922. meh. its just the case. just preference.

Intel i7 CPU's have no advantage over an i5 which is $100 less in the majority of games since they don't take use of the hyper-threaded cores on the 2600k/2700k.

I5-2500k - 4 cores 4 threads.

i7-2600k - 4 cores 8 threads.

Unless the OP is going to be running video editing applications, VM's, or running 3D modelling programs for example, he will see zero difference.

They can both overclock the same.

GPU: Look at getting the AMD Radeon HD 7850 OC edition.

Judging by the 7770 he picked, I'm going to go off a limb here and say the current budget is not ideal for a $200 video card but I may be wrong.

You could not be more wrong.

Yes, overclocking will require a decent PSU with enough amps, but that does not mean a 7770 + 2500k needs an 850w units when a 650w Rosewill HIVE series will be MORE than enough. A lot of people over estimate the wattage they actually need. Never skimp out on the PSU.

Antec 300 is...welll...terrible. The Antec One looks identical to it but has major improvements ( actual cable management, USB 3.0 ).

The HAF 922 is O.K. They re-did the case and somehow managed to screw up the cable management cut outs so it's just an open panel rather than closed with rubber grommets to cover cables.

actually the 2700k and 3570k are close but the 3570k is slightly better in gaming performance.
