I want to install Fallout New Vegas on a USB so I can use it on my laptop and home computer. Is there any way to do this without downloading a bunch of programs?

When it asks what directory u want, choose your usb.
Because when u install on your C drive you just install files so it would be possible to just install it on your USB.
