Send it back. Stealing something like that is against the law and is considered theft. It is taken VERY seriously, and the guy could easily call the police, give them your address and have you arrested. For Gods sake, RETURN THE ITEM. This is not a joke. And how could you steal something like that? Do you have any morals? I hope you go to jail. Have fun with "Big Bubba".

Keep the laptop and if nothing happens, good for you. You can't be charged for anything major due to your age and the nature of what you've done.

1, it is people like you that sadly make internet dealership such an untrustworthy and bad place.

2,Yes it is against the law for even a Minor to do this as it consists of you breaking multiple laws these include Fraud(claiming you will pay for something you have no intention/means to pay for), Theft (obtaining an item through ill means with the intention of permanently depriving the owner of it OR obtaining an item that the owner was expectant of payment for.

Now. you could rectify this by returning the item immediately, if you do not you could face a serious fine and a criminal record which will seriously hinder you adult life and could affect your application to some colleges. Your parents as your legal guardians until you are the age of 18 will be held accountable in the court of law and will be expected to pay not only the 800 USD but possibly the fine too.

EDIT**

of course he can, anyone can be charged within reason, he has done something wrong ans knows it, he is old enough to know right from wrong and as such is able to be punished in court, just not tried as an adult. your statement is wrong morally also.

He's a minor, if the police were involved all they would do is scold him and take it back to the original owner.

Can result in $1000+ fine and 5+ years in prison.
I'm joking about the last part, I don't know exactly how many years you can get.
