Recently I decided to take a look at the Last Riders book from the King Black Dragon (courtesy of a fansite), and was pretty much drawn into the lore behind Zaros. Quickly, I began looking up old fortresses controlled by him, when I got a weird thought.

What if I plot these down on the RuneScape map? 5 minutes later, I had all 8 known fortresses plotted down on a copy of the RuneScape map. Oddly enough, it looked like something, but I couldn't be too sure.

Then it dawned on me. Hey! 7 of these look like an odd circle, and the 8th fort, 'Callanger' is in the center! After adding in Daemonheim, and the ruins to the far north-east of the F2P wilderness, I was fairly confident I was on to something. Then I took a look at the symbol of Zaros, and it struck me! Connect the dots between the fortresses, and criss-cross lines through Callanger, and you have his symbol!

Furthermore, in the Last Riders story, one of the Riders survived, while the remaining four died. I went to the Graveyard of Shadows (current location of Callanger) and found four crypts.

Four crypts for four Dragon Riders, coincidence? I doubt it, especially since Zaros symbols are on many graves, and the statues at the gate bear the symbol on their staffs.

Anyone have thoughts on this?
