Well, I was randomly testing a patch a few weeks ago, and it froze. I tried turning it back on and it flashed 2 red rings, one on the top left, one on the bottom right. what's that mean? I thought i had my x-clamps replaced, but maybe not.

i don't think that is overheating as the lights he is reporting are diagonal this is usually a jtag / freeboot problem.

I get this on my falcons sometimes and it appears to be a timing issue on the jtag hack or an unstable freeboot.

Usually I just power the console off wait 5 seconds and then turn it back on and it clears the error.

If that doesn't work try creating a new freeboot image from your original nand and flashing it in.
