So i have a laptop and it has a celeron @ 2.2 ghz.
i want to upgrade it to a core 2 duo. This one

the chipset is a GL-40. I dont know what that means but could be important.
ive searched around but have not gotten a answer.
i need desperately an answer before i buy it.
I need the new processor for small gaming and so my computer will stop freezing.
so my question is
Will this processor be compatible for a upgrade? [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

You can't upgrade the processor in most laptops (unless you pay someone to do a transplant, which is fairly expensive.)

Unlike desktops, most laptop CPUs are soldered onto the motherboard, like an Xbox.
