Hi you say your controllers wont work wireless, but they should work wired have u tried this? Unlike PS3 who use Bluetooth Xbox use radio signals. The radio signals get received by the (RF Module) which is what connects your controller to your xbox, that might be the problem. It is located on the front of the Xbox after you have taken it apart. It looks like this

Very easy to replace might have a spare one lying around will have a look.

if its a wired controller you might need a new one if wireless check the battery pack or plug and play charge kit common sense you might just need a new controller
