Did Fear open when you had the past drivers from Nvidia? If so, you can either find the past versions, uninstall your current drivers, and reinstall the older ones. Or you could do a system restore to the point before you updated.

Could you check the nVidia website for there recommended drivers for the fear game if they have it?

You can force the game into DX9 mode by following these steps:
Right click F.E.A.R. 3 in your library.
Click "properties".
Click "set launch options".
Type "-d3d9" without the quotes.
This will force the game into DX9 mode and solve your problem,it's due to a conflict between your graphics card being DX11 and Fear isn't properly optimised for it hope I helped

1. Run the vcredist.exe and dxsetup.exe
If youre running Installshield in the installer folder (what you downloaded, not the program files folder), there is a folder called support. The vcredist.exe is found there. In that same folder, there is a DirectX11 folder. Run the dxsetup.exe in that folder.
