No, I'm building it, and I have never heard of the 16gb ram limit, because the so cant limit the ram, can it not?
You can put in as much RAM sticks as you want but it will say only 16GB useable.

I am surprised that no one has asked this question. Why do you need so much ram just go with 16gb or lower your never going to even use that much.

Im probably going to host a minecraft and or a DayZ server, and dedicate like 4gb of ram to each
