right i sent my main pc away to be fix and when it came back the ethernet card was not working and the prob i have is it is builtin to the mother board and cant be removed but if i got another ethernet card with a installation disk would that sovle the problem

as i want to be sure before i invest in one

what you should do is go on another computer and goto your computers manufacturers website and look up your computer and get the network driver and put it on a usb and tada your will have a working ethernet
