no their is nothing you really need to know and as for updating you are correct, and also if you update the retail your rgh/jtag side will automatically update its a new feature

I have a demon dual NAND slim and a trident triple NAND slim, the process is the same, update your retail NAND via Xbox live, and use xebuild to update your jtag NAND.

What are you talking about??? It will auto update your jtag NAND? No it doesn't work like that. I got the 16179 update on both my consoles, and it doesn't effect your jtag NAND, you have to build your own image with xebuild.

How could it auto update??? The xebuild for 16179 wasn't even out when live pushed the update out, how could the demon auto update a hacked image of the next dash? You are retarded, and contributed incorrect information to this thread.

if you look at the deon chips website you will see it clearly states that it updates both and does not turn it back into a retail

I do not see any place where it says anything similar to what you said.

Like I said I have a demon dual nand slim, had it on 15574, got the live update, the update did not change anything on my jtag nand, I had to flash it manually to update it to 16179.

If anyone knows what they are talking about, and can correct me please do, but otherwise I don't know how it could create a it's own hacked image without xebuild, especially before xebuild even released the 16179 build, doesn't seem possible.
