I live in Illinois too. I know hurricanes do reach us, but I don't even know if you can them hurricanes when they reach us. Hurricane Sandy will pretty much miss up. The only bad thing for us is bad storms especially if you live in Chicago where Lake Michigan will be going crazy.

I live in Florida, and this is one of the First times a hurricane hasn't even touched us. We haven't gotten rain in over a month

I haven't had power for three days... I also haven't taken a shower in three days. I just got to my moms friends house and I'm going to take a shower. Wish me luck.

Got my power back 2 hours ago. So mad that Seaside Heights boardwalk is gone. I know it will be rebuilt, but won't be the same...

I also don't celebrate Halloween till Saturday. The NJ Governer postponed it to Monday, but my town is doing it saturday. The past two years were the worst Halloween's I've ever experienced.

I live in PA, and we were supposed to get hit. I had off school yesterday, and we barely got any rain. So we basically got a free day off.

Over half of New Jersey is flooded out , My power been off since 8:30 monday night , I went to my mom house where there was power at. I'm from Irvington ,New Jersey
