English class is the stupidest class ever. I have no problem reading a book but you should not have to analyze every thing in the book for the deeper meaning when half the time there isn't a deeper meaning it is just written to advance the plot. Also the way papers are graded is stupid you should not be graded on the sentence structure or how you say something it should be what you say. There should not be a class dedicated to making crap look pretty.

I agree, when will we ever use half the stuff they teach us in school anyway. When in the work force am I going to need to know anything in Algebra 2?

Actual it really does help with your general knowledge. Before I properly looked into books I never understood the true meaning of a book and it's storyline. Now whenever I read I can't help but look into every detail. And I would just get on with your Enlgish and study hard, If you keep that attitude you won't get a very good job.

That's how it is. English is only useful in the first few grades, maybe up to Gr 6 or so. But, it does help you in terms of writing better, so if you have a business report, it's easier to write more professionally, and make it sound and look nice. Marketing and Journalism also benefit from English, as well as writers.

English is more important then math in my opinion, it improved my knowledge so much.

Ideas wrote English is more important then math in my opinion, it improved my knowledge so much.

In my opinion, math and Science are the most important subjects!
