Does the japanese method still work because I just got the 2 codes but when I try to redeem them it says the console region does not match the code what do I have to do?

Are you sure you collected the right codes? The top are for 48 Hours or 14 Days, whatever. And the bottom code is for the actual copy of Monster Hunter Frontier Demo.
