You will need to see what power supply you have because you will most likely need to upgrade it also the HD 7770 is a better card for the same price.

ATI and PCE, what do they even exist. If he has a graphics card allready it is quite safe to say its a PCI 2.0 or 3.0 and on most cards it dosent matter which one it is also nvidia and AMD cards both use the same port so it dosent matter which brand you use.
