Does anybody know where I can download Mac OS X 10.6.1 onto a cd so I can start my computer from new?

Best place to look is probably the pirate bay. Try to download a torrent that has a pink or green skull on it to show its a trusted uploader. and go for a full DVD DMG

You would need a dual layer DVD or 8GB flash drive because the disc i believe is 6.6GB.
