I will be getting a copy Saturday and I want to play online. Will it be safe if they are up?

Yes the servers would be up because testers and reviewers will be on them, and microsoft are noted about who is allowed on the servers, but if you choose to go on the servers you will be deffently banned so its not advised, but it would be safe to play online 1-2 days before official release.

I suggest waiting closer to Sunday night. A night before the game won't put you in any harm. Saturday is a few days before Tuesday, so I wouldn't suggest it. I know it's the weekend and you want to have fun, but play campaign and stuff before the real competition starts online, and do NOT risk it.

The servers will be up on the 8th and on mw3 and the 1st black ops I went online as soon as they were up and I didn't get deranked or banned

Your posts are illinformed and wide of the mark.

I've NEVER been banned or deranked on any Cod games I've played before launch. Saturday before launch is normally when the servers go live and that's when I'll be online just like every Cod before this.
