Hey guys, so I just started playing RuneScape again. I played a long time ago and I'm still figuring new stuff out. One of the things I'm still trying to figure out is how assisting works.

I get that you request assist from someone, and you get their level for the time being. But that's pretty much all I understand. So if someone can explain to me how it works, that would be great.

Do I receive the xp after receiving assistance, or does the person giving me the assistance?
What else should I know?
