Whether you like it or not the world pretty much revolves around the US, and China. If either country had a bad economic crash the worlds economy would be destroyed.

Uncertainty wroteGRWL wrote If you're still interested in an answer OP, no. You do not want to move here. The "American Dream" that is portrayed by television and media is actually scandalous cooperation's controlling the entire country and "poor" people who leech off of the system in order to afford new shoes and cigarettes. Why someone would even consider moving into a country that is hundreds of trillions in debt and has an unemployment beyond what we've seen in almost a century is hard for me to understand. Not to mention the inevitable war that China is pushing on us. Our countries value is very quickly decreasing. We owe China trillions of dollars. If our countries value goes lower than what we owe China (or any country for that matter), what's stopping them from taking us over? Oh, not to mention Obama, like the saint he is, is deciding to cut our military. Not only is our budget going down, but now we have less soldiers... A LOT less.
Don't listen to 90% of the people in this thread. They are all under 18 and have no idea what America really is, outside of the "education" we give them. And I use education as a loose term considering we are one of the dumbest countries in the world right now.
Not sure how serious you are about moving OP, but don't. Ireland is far better off than America.
You are one ignorant mother f*cker...
We are nowhere near 100 trillion dollars in debt, we are 16 trillion dollars in debt, and our GDP is about 15 trillion.
Our unemployment is at about 8%, which is nowhere near where some other countries are. Take spain for example, they have an unemployment rate of over 25%, and Greece is close behind. We will not go to war with China any time soon, because both sides know that it is not worth it. We understand that starting a war with China will only lead to another world war, and possibly the end of the world. It wierd how the "dumbest" country in the world has the highest GDP, most powerful military, and so much more. Do us all a favor and leave if you hate it here so bad.
When did I say I hate America? America is a rich (not $$$ wise) and beautiful country. There is so much culture and freedom here. You're right about the debt, though. I got my numbers confused, oops! Still, even 16 trillion in debt is a lot. In fact, it's so much that it is hard for most people to even comprehend that amount of money!! Crazy, huh? Another thing, i wasn't comparing our unemployment to other countries. Actually, I wasn't comparing anything to another country. I was talking about AMERICA the whole time. 8% unemployment, like out debt, is a lot. It's too much for such a "great and powerful" country like you make it out to be. And don't you think such a "great and powerful" country should have a lower drop-out rate? It's hard to deny the fact the Americas education system is flawed and is teaching out future generations practically nothing. Which would only explain why the youth of this country are mostly degenerates who will become nothing! But wait!! America has geniuses too! We have some of the smartest youth in the world, and that's a great thing. But there should be more of them, a lot more of them.

lol, that's quite funny. I think what's most funny about it is I work a full-time job. I pay my taxes, and I am paying my debt to society. The hundreds that are taken out of my paycheck every two weeks go to the roads, school, and the state I live in. I am a hardworking part of this country, and I'm proud of it. But you wouldn't know about that, would you?
If you want to move to America, wait until we are out of the debt, and our unemployment has gone down. And, depending on your preference, wait until the president actually wants to help the country, not his pockets:)

America has ALWAYS been in debt. We wont be getting out anytime soon. The unemployment rate is bad, but alot of it has to do with people refusing to work in the service industry, and people who have just stopped looking and started collecting unemployment. If I can find a job as a punk ass 17 year old, im sure an educated adult could do the same, they just refuse to work jobs they feel they are over qualified for. Hell if I was a college grad and got layed off I bet I would refuse to work at a fast food place too.
