For some reason even after installing the game to my hard drive the disk continues to spin meaning I cannot take it out. Is there a reason for this? Anybody else having the same problem?

Take the game back if it does not work at all. If it does work regular then there is something wrong with the xbox prob.

Yeah the game runs fine. It is just that I don't want the disk spinning. It stops spinning for other games that are installed just not Black Ops 2.

When the disc is says, "Play Black Ops II" goto My Games and find Black Ops II. Then launch the game from your HDD. That might work.
