i want to fix my black ops that is badly scratched, any suggestions

If it's badly scratched and won't read then there's nothing you can do but trade the game in for a new copy. People may suggest borrowing a friends copy and installing it to your HDD but you said it won't read, so that's out of the question.

If its severly scratched this wont work but you can take it too gamestop and they can buff it

They don't buffer games to the public. Only for Trade in games.

if you live in UK they buff games at any gamestation for 3. if not try installing someone elses. its worked for all my other games.. if its not scratched enough just to say that it is black ops but wont load then it will work.
