Just found this out when you are in custom class you can change primary and press y to prestige or triangle on PlayStation

I believe its same way you change camp except you go in like you're changing to a different gun and it'll say triangle or y to prestige gun you'll get clan tag on gun just did with my mp7

Same way you look at what level your gun is like when you go to change it'll say what level but when its max you can prestige it

i prestiged my mp7 twice already and i have my clan tag and emblem on my gun now...you just lose your attachments but keep your camo. Its basically to say you are a badass with that gun and gives you more XP for the challenges. But meh. it is what it is
