1. Sign in to your Microsoft account.

2. Press the silver/green Xbox Guide Button on the controller.

3. Navigate to Marketplace tab.

4. Select Redeem Code and enter code.

Codes can also be redeemed at live.xbox.com

It's times like this that explain why i have a bookmark of the page: Redeem Code - Xbox.com
I was already signed in so Pasted the code and redeemed it. Sadly it was invalid but deleted the 1st letter off each set of 5 because it only works if Xbox adds the dashes (-) when typing a code. Then got the code.

I have double checked that i have typed the code correctly and yes it correct but no problem
