How to Rank up Quick in Black Ops II

Intro

Today I will be giving my response on how to level up quick in BO2 ( Black Ops 2 ). I have already prestige in the game, so I know many things that others may not. This game has confused a lot of people, given the fact it is not like the other cods with its play style and gameplay. I am here to show you the best ways to rank up, and how to be a good player to begin with.

Starting Off

Level 1-10
----

Starting off in the game, or when you prestige is a really a key factor to your success with the rest of your levels. This is where you play "Boot Camp" to rank up to level 10. This way you go to online with a nice little lead with your guns and specialties. Remember, you can only play "Boot Camp" until level 10. You want to focus on getting your guns to a good rank for some nice attachments. All in all, you want to have a good start, without having to deal with others having a huge advantage over you while you have the default classes.

Gamemode: Combat Training "Boot Camp"
Guns: What ever suits you within the default classes. After you hit lvl 4, I would use a sub machine gun like the PDW-57, or the MP7.
Killstreaks: Use any that you have unlocked from leveling up to 10.

Level 10-20
---

This is when you have to hit the online stage. You are suiting up to play online against anyone who comes your way. You want to hit the twenties and thirties as quick as you can. This is where you start unlocking some good guns that can overpower some others. Here are some good tips though to play through and have a good run.

Gamemode: Kill Confirmed is the best gamemode to earn Xp and your Killstreaks. Killstreaks als play a big factor in leveling up. You always want to keep the shortest killstreaks to get as possible to rank up fast. This way you get lots of points when using them. Every confirm you get will give you 100xp, while denying also gives you 25xp. You can also play Domination and play the objective hard. This will also give you a lot of points.

KillStreaks I would use: UAV, Hunter Drone, Counter UAV

Also I would like to put that playing with a squad also helps you out with winning and points. The key to success a lot of the times.

Level 20-40
---

Level 20-40 is basically self explanatory. You need to make sure you play the objective as it get harder and harder to rank up. I still suggest to play confirmed, it gives you the most points out of all of them. Gun wise, you now get a more variety to pick from. I would suggest using the M27 when you unlock. It is the new ACR on this game. It has really good range, and preforms good up close with the people with sub machine guns. A lot of the assault rifles are terrible up close. This M27 is very efficient guys.

KillStreaks: Still the same. You can use higher streaks, but there is less of the chance you will get them. The lower you set, the more points you can get.

Level 40-55
---
Now you really have an advantage here guys. You are almost at the point where you can't do anything more but prestige. You will be unlocking the Skorpian Evo as a sub Machine gun. Let me tell you that this gun is up to standard on everything. I treat it has a Assault Rifle sometimes, it is that good in my opinion. The AN-94 is also around the corner. That is one of the better assault rifles in this game.

Killstreaks: By now you can go a little higher. Try to use the Guardian and other support type killstreaks. The guardian is very good, as soon as someone hits it you already get 10 points for it.

Gamemodes: By this time, I would try playing a lot of Hardpoint and Kill Confirmed. You rank up very quick in both of these, I cannot stress that enough. If you have the right play style, you can do really well in Hardpoint.

Nuketown
---

This is a good way to level yourself up as well. On Nuketown, your guaranteed a lot of the times to do well if you know how to play. I rush around from spawn to spawn on this map. I suggest playing with friends because it is easier to communicate and to win. I also advise using a sub machine gun of your choice, or a shotgun. Both are very affective on this map. There are random gamemodes on the playlist, but all of them give you a lot of Xp if you do good just because of the map. I hope this just summarizes some of the things on it. Be ready for a huge update to Nuketown Tomorrow night guys.

Your Play Style ( Summary )

This is a pretty touchy topic in the Cod community right now. We have not seen a version of Cod like this at all. It has so many unique things that all the others never had. The balancing is amazing in the game. My play style has always been aggressive and free. Any type is find, as long as you know how to play it per say. When I first got the game, I was running down the middle trying to pick guys off getting shot it. You have to use flank routes to your advantage and try to stay closed in on objects in the game. The play style you play at, is what is going to affect your level, Kill Death Ratio, xp, etc. You have to watch out for these types of things.Just ask yourself, what kind of player are you?
