There is a ranking system implemented regardless, this is just to let you see youre opponents rank. Voted yes btw.

no the higher you get to 50 the harder your opponents get if you ever plaeyed H2 or H3 you would know lol just another reach kid huh

Okay I may sound like a newbe but I just don't pay attention to the ranking system in the Halo games, I play to have fun but never noticed if anything was different. I have been playing since H3 please explain what is different so I know

Yes can someone please explain to me simply what the Halo 2 & 3 ranking systems were?
I played Halo 3 but mostly custom games and not much matchmaking.

ok so you would play in a play list and your rank would increase from 1-50 if you got to a 47 lost 5 games and died alot you would go down if you where good getting like 25 kills and under 10 deaths you would soon reach a 50

Ohhh I see.

Although that would be pretty annoying if you were consistently good and then just had a bad day, and went down a load of levels.
For me, I need a few warm-up games on halo before before I am any good.

But nevertheless, it seems like a pretty good ranking system, better than some of my friends who are sh*t but because they play it so much they are a high level

Also, I think they should bring Social playlists back, so you can play online but with no recorded scores

it counts on your wins and losses not kills and deaths if you cant win game and your loosing all the time your not going to get any closer to that 50 infact you will go down in rank so if you want that 50 you need to be organized and try your pants off

also lets say you get to a 45 you play a game the win that means you have 1 win on your 45 you might need one more win to get your 46 the bamm you loose that game you now need to win 2 games for a chance to get a 46 but then you loose again there is a chance you can go back down to a 44

and because when you get closer to that 50 your are going to be playing better people all the time check this montage i made whilst playing at level 40-50 MLG (were all the pro's play and good kids) and level 50 swat and slayer

So this would replace the current ranks? or would it be a rating beside your rank.
Ie. Rank 43 (26)

I don't want it to replace current ranks but I want it to be only where we can see it. But I love this system because it goes by skill.
