Hey guys, I assumed this is the best section to ask this question. My question is this, what is the best tablet for under $600? I do notwant an iPad. I want an Android or a Windows tablet. I was looking at the 32 gig Surface, but some of the reviews I read said it had lots of flaws. I want something around 16 gigs or more. I plan on expanding the memory via micro SD after purchasing it. I would use it for web browsing, Spotify, and games. Please leave your thoughts and if you have one please let me know what you think of it. Thanks.

The Nexus 10 is really the only competitor to the current-gen iPad. If you can afford it, though, I'd get the iPad. Why don't you want it?

The main reason is I absolutely cannot stand Apple. Ever since I got my first Android phone I've been in love with the software, I also feel that Android provides a better platform for which I can operate on.

Haha, I think you should try the iPad before you buy anything because objectively I still believe that it is the best tablet your money can buy, unfortunately. Luckily Android is really moving in the right direction as of late. If you are invested in Google's ecosystem, though, Nexus 10 for sure.

I've been looking at the Nexus 10, and I have my heart set on that. Regarding iPads, my friend has the 3rd gen and I've played around with it quite a bit. The main thing is it seems sluggish, like it isn't as fast as it could be. But thanks again for your input. I appreciate it.
