Can someone tell me specifically what the benefits of prestiging are in this game? I usually go to the last or close to the last prestige in every COD but sometimes there's not really a good reason to. For instance in MW3 there was literally no point in that gold guns were available to everyone.

What's the fun in NOT leveling? I'm planning on going to max prestige and then getting EVERY single weapon gold, thus giving me all diamond guns.

More of a challange better looking ranks and it keeps the game fresher until you hit the higher ranks!

There isn't any point in staying at 55 in this game. You keep camos, attachments, cooler ranks, and you even gain a class when you do. Why wouldn't you?

You could ask that question on every cod, that's the whole point of it, level up, get max and unlock everything.

The point in prestiging is that it gives the player something to aim for and something to do. I got very bored just sat at 10th 70 on mw2. Same as if I would be at level 55 no prestige on Black ops 2.
