My dvd drive is:

Lite-On 16D4S

I was wondering also if I should buy a separate flashed xbox or if my dvd drive is flashable, if I should just get, the one I have now flashed?

I think it is, i have a lite on also so yours should be too. I'm not 100% sure just yet so try asking around. I'll have an updated answer here shortly.
