Looking now into building my own PC rather than buying a laptop. Anyone Have good specs for playing online games? i know it's kinda vague but just started looking into it haha

the main thing is your budget, once you have that then we can be more help,
cause we could suggest stuff like a I5 3570k where as your budget only allows for a I3 3220 or something
as well as gpus we could tell you a 7850 but your budget may only allow for a 7770

I'll offer my 2 cents:
I suggest a mid-range quad-core processor of around 4.0 - 4.4 ghz.
For the GPU I would suggest anything like the Nvidia GT 550ti.
8gb of Ram seems to be standard these days.
Go ahead and look for a decent size and speed hard-rive.
This is what I would call mid-range. Nothing to fancy, should be able to run BF3 ect. at around Mid graphic settings at about 70-80 fps.

Yeah my budget would probably be $700 - 750 max. I'm not looking for top of the line seeing as this is going to be my first build. But I also don't want any "starter" parts. I want this to last me for a good four years. Is it possible?
