I bought a slim online to mod. It came with 3.55 FW apparently, but i have no way of checking because ...

Once you plug it in, you have a red standby light, which is fine. Once i press the power button it turns green then turns off with no light or beep. After this happens you can press power 100 times nothing will happened, you have to unplug it from the wall and replug it in a few times to get the red standby light again...

Any suggestions? It has some kind of warranty stickers this website has on their products and i don't wanna void it, so i'm gonna return it if its something unrepearable. If its something i can fix quickly or cheaply then i will but i need some advice
