Well I think it should be in game in the service record and they should keep the current ranks.

I wish they would do many things. Take out Ordnance an replace with weapon pick ups, buff BR, add team doubles, etc. the 1-50 ranking should AT LEAST be available in the ranked playlists, I mean come on, 343.
And I believe they should do the vice versa of what you said. 1-50 ranks should be next to your in-game name (instead of 1-130) and put the 1-130 rank on your service record.
