I got a friend to make me a build, and I need help to decide whether it's worth going with their build or getting one from r00ts topic.
Motherboard - gigabyte z68 AP-D3
Ram - 2x8gig kingston ddr3 ram (16gig ram)
CPU - Intel i5 3470 @3.2Ghz
Graphics card - Gigabyte NVIDIA 550Ti
HDD 1 - Samsung 128gb ssd
HDD 2 - Seagate 2TB 7200rpm 16 meg buffer
Case - Cooler Master RC430 with 500watt PSU
I want speakers and keyboards + mouse as well so that will probably increase the price.
Price - $1200
Btw I can spend up to $1800 and I will probably be ordering in like 2-3 weeks.
Thanks

Terrible PSU, case, and graphics card. I would not recommend a Z68 motherboard with Z77 available and the 830 isn't such a great deal when you can get an 840 of the same capacity for less. $1,200 is a huge budget and you can get much better than this if that's what you want to spend!

Thanks r00t, in a few weeks I'll be posting on your topic.
Do you know of any good websites that ship to Australia with reasonably cheap prices? Because I was checking out newegg and they don't.
Thanks

The only one that comes to my mind is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . I know there are more, though, I've done plenty of AUD builds.

There you go. You can swap the GPU for a 7970/680 if you desire. This build will play everything you can throw at it. Looks hella sexy. And can play any game you can think of at Max settings and 60-70FPS.
