No! I use this. I honetly don't like Yahoo Answers. Occasionally I look up something I get non-serious answers.

Famous, don't be to worried, they arnt really planning on shutting it down, the government stopped them once, they arnt going to shut it down because they "arnt making money" wiki has billions of users, it's not like having that many viewers doesn't help. It does.

They just want $$. That's all that is about. The income of wikipedia is absolutely insane. In 2007, Jimmy Wales (Founder of Wikipedia
) estimated that Wikipedia was worth about $3 billion US. They are not going to shut down, they're interested in the money, that is all. Like most organizations, especially ones funding kids, the companies make a killing.

They do this about once a year from what I recall. They do run a lot of thing around the site and I understand their purpose for getting income but you guys should not freak out over it. They are just doing this to help pay for some things they need, who knows!

You wanna know why? Cause nobody is giving no damn donations. All they need is just a little bit from everyone, they are really trying to keep the site up. Come on people HELP!

Haha I see this message every time I visit the site, it's NOT going to shut down. Just wants more money than what is coming in so they are trying to get more donations.

i blame the economy... i think thats the first time i said that and it made sense
